From June 1-25, 2021, nearly 30 conducting students will join Miguel Harth-Bedoya, faculty, and Lab Orchestra for an intensive four-week training program. Classroom sessions will cover music theory, ear training, instrumentation, score analysis, conducting technique, music of the Americas, string techniques, timpani and percussion techniques, writing techniques, and panels with faculty musicians. Active students will also receive podium time in front of a Lab Orchestra with one-on-one coaching from Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
